Jardins de l’abbaye Saint Georges de Boscherville

Description :
The beautiful and the useful. Gardens restored to the former glory of the 17th century, when it was created by the Benedictine monks of the congregation of Saint-Maur. Offering an example - single in the area - of a monastic garden, utilitarian garden by definition. Its architectural style mixes the heritage of the medieval abbey gardens with the gardens of the Italian Renaissance in terraces, adapted to the more sober French style. Included is a floral vegetable garden, with 80 species of medicinal plants, an orchard with old-fashioned fruit varieties of different shapes and habits, vines and shrubberies, from where the visitor can admire the magnificent view of the abbey and the Seine river valley. Jardins de Bois-Guilbert - Parc de sculptures

Description :
The seven hectares park is an hymn to sculpture. Jean-Marc de Pas, landscape artist and sculptor, has created in the heart of this family-run estate, a vast idyllic sculpture park, a poetic walk and landscape garden where art and nature transport the walker through a reverie of changing symbolic spaces, around the chateau, chapel and pavilion from the 17th and 18th centuries. The estate has played host to major figures including the poet and play writer Pierre Corneille, a cousin of the family's ancestors.

Parc de la Vallée du Télhuet

Descriptif :

Description :
The park is dominated by a beautiful cedar of Lebanon, several centuries old. The park of the château is surrounded with a wall of bricks recently restored and you can find inside some fruit trees, magnolias, and huge collection of clematises. Against the château, the kitchen garden (restored forty years ago by the Comtesse de Vogüé, grand-mother of the actual owners), stayed/stays in its initial vocation of a " pleasure " garden. Separated by alleys of grass, the squares are ordered with vegetables and flowers that contrast with the profusion of annual flowers on the sides: a fantastic harmony of delicate colours that change according to the season. La Ferme des Templiers

Descriptif :
