Descriptif :
Surrounding a château built around 1760, the unusual 15 ha park reveals itself through three stages: a classical garden with outstanding centuries-old trees in front of the main courtyard, small enclosed blue and white gardens designed by Russel Page, and finally a romantic aeria of spouting waters, pool and cascades through woodland.

Between the rivers Eure and Iton, the park, with its poetic mix of classical landscape and romantic elements, makes a fine setting for a Renaissance château. The foliage of centuries old trees casts elegant shadows on water: mirrors, serpentines and waterfalls. A large orangery features a collection of citrus plants and a southern garden, a walled kitchen garden with exceptionally old espaliered fruit trees, and many shrubs blooming all year round.

Château d’Emalleville
Description :
Was designed in 1720 as a typical 18th century country house. From that time, still remains a unique Norman double and circular lime-trees avenue, a formal pool with statuary, a ha-ha and the former kitchen garden now used as an orchard. In1880, the French garden became an English park with many exotic trees planted. In 1955 a new French garden with box tree and yew tree hedges was created and lately a small English garden.

Description:
Around a 17th century château, the estate shows a typical Normandy-Ile de France park. Ancient axial avenues of trees, romantic Anglo-Norman manor-house, theatre, hamlet, parkland and country garden. The visitor feels constantly and charmingly opposed between the different European styles of parks and gardens.

Description :
Situated in the heart of river Andelle valley, sculpture and landscape framed in a beautiful natural setting at the border of the forest of Lyons. The park of the 16th and 17th century château, is a perfect open-air sculpture gallery. Fifty bronzes, marbles, ceramics and mosaics created by the greatest modern artists stand in a landscaped park and a classic French garden (1774) with mazes and beech tree hedges, along the winding stream and cascades of the river Crevon. Remarkable centuries-old oak-tree.

Description :
